ASTRONOMY: seeing the INVISIBLE
by Jean Vallières

IMAGE GALLERY
See the gallery of deep sky images that I obtained from my home near Montreal. It's surprising what can be obtained with a CCD camera. It is also here that the expression "Seeing the Invisible" takes on special meaning.
DOUBLE, MULTIPLE AND SPECIAL STARS
In June 2012, I started the project to photograph many beautiful double, multiple and special stars, easily observed and photographed with a telescope of modest size, and even in a city sky.

The images are obtained with a small Celestron NexImage 5 color camera with my RCX400 250 mm telescope.
MY URBAN OBSERVATORY
This section provides some pictures of the construction of the small sliding roof observatory installed in my backyard.

ARDUINO-SKYPIKIT TELESCOPE MOTORIZATION PROJECT

Motorize a telescope mount to enable it to do astronomical photography using ARDUINO and SKYPIKIT microcontrollers and other parts available on the market.
